Play date with Max
Max, the ten week old Bernese Mountain pup, stop by for a visit today. Riley has spent the last year with a pup but Jessie has not been around other dogs much (never a pup). They got along great.

In a previous post I expressed some concern about the fate of momma deer. Hadn’t seen her in a while. This is her sauntering across the road in front of our house. And I believe she has started using the hiking trail.

It has been one week since we brought Jessie into our home. I’d say she is 90% house broken. We’re taking her out side about every 30 minutes and she has clearly made the connection: this is where you pee. Best news? Our 3 1/2 year old Golden, Riley, is enjoying her new pal.
